By downloading, installing, or using Kotora ("the app"), you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.
Kotora is a Portuguese language learning application that provides vocabulary exercises, grammar lessons, conjugation drills, speech recognition practice, and audio pronunciation. The app is designed for learners working toward A2-level European Portuguese proficiency.
Pricing: Kotora offers a monthly subscription. The current price is displayed in the app and on the App Store before purchase.
Billing: Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase. Subscriptions automatically renew unless auto-renewal is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period.
Renewal: Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period at the same price.
Management: You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time through your iPhone or iPad Settings > Apple ID > Subscriptions.
Free Trial: If a free trial is offered, any unused portion of the trial period will be forfeited when you purchase a subscription.
You agree to use Kotora only for personal, non-commercial language learning purposes. You may not:
All content in Kotora — including but not limited to exercises, images, animations, audio, and design — is the property of Kotora and is protected by copyright. All rights are reserved.
Kotora is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. While we strive to provide accurate Portuguese language content, we do not guarantee that all translations, pronunciations, or grammar explanations are error-free. Kotora is a learning aid and should not be relied upon as the sole resource for language certification preparation.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Kotora shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the app in the 12 months preceding any claim.
We may update these Terms of Use from time to time. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
These Terms of Use shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the applicable jurisdiction, without regard to conflict of law principles.
